Your Inspiring Role

As the Nursery Area Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that the nurseries under your leadership consistently provide the highest standards of care and education. You'll inspire and motivate your teams, leading by example, and ensuring all policies and procedures are successfully implemented.

Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Empowering settings to consistently achieve and exceed high standards of care and education.

  • Providing continuous support and guidance to nursery managers, fostering their personal and professional development.

  • Leading by example, modeling best practices and exceptional leadership skills.

  • Managing the performance of nursery managers and supporting them in achieving their targets and objectives.

  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures are effectively implemented across your region.

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

  • Taking an active role in the recruitment of talented, passionate nursery teams.

  • Overseeing 6 nurseries within the Cambridgeshire area.

Requirements:


What an Area Manager needs:


  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent childcare qualification required

  • Paediatric first aid & Food Hygiene certificates

  • Foundation degree or BA in Early years desirable


Experience

  • You should have a proven track record of managing a setting to a minimum good or outstanding Ofsted rating and at least 3 years Experience within the Early Years Foundation Stage and 3 years management experience
