Ainsworth Recruitment are working with a key client to appoint Recruitment Consultants in Newcastle.


The Recruitment Consultant plays a key role in supporting business growth, manage the full recruitment cycle, and help coordinate high‑quality care delivery. This is a varied role combining sales, candidate management, and rota coordination within a fast‑moving environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and secure new opportunities within the healthcare sector

  • Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers

  • Carry out sales activity including calls, meetings, networking, and market research

  • Grow existing accounts and contribute to overall branch performance

  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process

  • Source, interview, and onboard healthcare professionals

  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline and ensure all compliance is completed

  • Match candidates to client requirements and deliver a reliable service

  • Support the planning of staff rotas to ensure client visits are fully covered

  • Respond quickly to changes in staffing or care needs

  • Communicate effectively with care staff, clients, and families

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure service standards are upheld

  • Build long‑term relationships with clients and candidates

  • Understand workforce challenges and provide effective staffing solutions

  • Support care staff throughout their placement journey

Requirements:


  • Experienced in recruitment, sales, care coordination, or staff scheduling

  • Confident in building relationships and developing new business

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment

  • Resilient, proactive, and commercially minded

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

  • A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
