Location:

North West

Job Type:

Full Time Permanent

Description:

Ainsworth Recruitment is exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Manager to lead operations in the North West.

This is not a "desk-bound" administrative role. We are looking for high-energy leaders who possess a hunter mentality for business development and a nurturing approach to team management. You will have the autonomy to run your branches as your own business, backed by the infrastructure of a national healthcare provider.

The Role: Strategic Leadership & Growth

As the Branch Manager, you are the face of the organisation within your region. Your primary mission is to bridge the gap between high-calibre healthcare professionals and the clients who need them most.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Commercial Growth: You will identify untapped market opportunities in your territory, pitching staffing solutions to NHS and private healthcare providers to expand the branch’s footprint.

  • Operational Excellence: Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring that your consultants are meeting their KPIs and that the "compliance-first" culture is maintained.

  • Team Development: Mentoring and coaching your internal staff, transforming recruiters into consultants and future leaders.

  • Quality & Compliance: Ensuring all placements adhere to strict healthcare regulatory standards, maintaining the highest levels of patient safety.

What Is in It for You?

Our client believes in rewarding the dedication involved in branch management. Beyond a competitive base salary, you will receive:

  • Performance-Related Bonuses: A transparent commission structure based on branch growth.

  • On-Call Compensation: Financial recognition for your participation in the out-of-hours support rota.

  • Bespoke Training: Access to leadership development programmes designed to take you from Branch Manager to Regional Operations.

  • Culture of Autonomy: The freedom to implement your own local marketing and recruitment strategies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a specific blend of industry knowledge and leadership capability. We are looking for:

  • Sector Expertise: Substantial experience in recruitment management, specifically within the Healthcare, Nursing, or Social Care sectors. An understanding of the temporary staffing market is essential.

  • Proven Leadership: A track record of managing and motivating a team of recruitment consultants to meet and exceed their individual and collective KPIs.

  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated success in Business Development (BD), including identifying new opportunities, pitching to healthcare providers, and securing service level agreements.

  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for travel to client sites and meetings across the region.
