Ainsworth Recruitment are working with a key client to appoint Recruitment Consultants in Newcastle.
The Recruitment Consultant plays a key role in supporting business growth, manage the full recruitment cycle, and help coordinate high‑quality care delivery. This is a varied role combining sales, candidate management, and rota coordination within a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and secure new opportunities within the healthcare sector
Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers
Carry out sales activity including calls, meetings, networking, and market research
Grow existing accounts and contribute to overall branch performance
Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process
Source, interview, and onboard healthcare professionals
Maintain a strong talent pipeline and ensure all compliance is completed
Match candidates to client requirements and deliver a reliable service
Support the planning of staff rotas to ensure client visits are fully covered
Respond quickly to changes in staffing or care needs
Communicate effectively with care staff, clients, and families
Maintain accurate records and ensure service standards are upheld
Build long‑term relationships with clients and candidates
Understand workforce challenges and provide effective staffing solutions
Support care staff throughout their placement journey

Experienced in recruitment, sales, care coordination, or staff scheduling
Confident in building relationships and developing new business

Able to work independently and collaboratively
A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
