Ainsworth Recruitment have partnered with a client in Essex who are  seeking a passionate and experienced Care Manager to lead and grow complex care packages across their services. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career in care management within a company that values autonomy, innovation, and professional growth.

You will be responsible for overseeing high-quality, person-centred care, managing a team of care professionals, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong connections with Integrated Care Board (ICB) and a proven ability to drive service development and business growth.


Key Responsibilities


Care Package Management

  • Oversee the delivery of complex care packages tailored to individual needs.

  • Conduct assessments and reviews to ensure care plans remain appropriate and  effective.

  • Act as the main point of contact for families, professionals, and service users.

  • Ensure continuity and consistency of care across all packages.

Team Leadership

  • Lead,support, and develop a team of care staff to deliver outstanding care.

  • Conduct regular supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews.

  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture.

  • Ensure staff are trained and compliant with all mandatory requirements.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure services meet all relevant CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and internal policies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, care plans, and risk assessments.

  • Respond to incidents and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections.

Business Development

  • Identify  and pursue opportunities for service growth and expansion.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ICS partners, commissioners, and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.

  • Represent the organisation at external meetings and networking events.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing complex care packages and leading care teams.

  • Strong understanding of the UK care sector, including CQC and ICS frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

  • Ambitious and self-motivated, with a desire to grow professionally.

  • Comfortable working flexibly, including remotely, to meet service needs.
