Registered Manager, Children's Residential Care
Ainsworth Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager on behalf of a new children's residential care home. This is a unique opportunity to lead the launch of a new 3–4 bed home in Dorset, specialising in supporting children with Learning Disabilities and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the full management and development of the home. This includes ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with Ofsted regulations. You will also have the chance to build and mentor your own team, shaping a positive and nurturing environment from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations in line with all Ofsted regulations.
Recruit, supervise, and support a skilled care team.
Ensure the implementation of person-centered care plans.
Build strong relationships with external agencies and families.
Drive continuous improvement to achieve a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating.
What We Are Looking For
An experienced Registered Manager or Deputy Manager with at least two years of experience in children's residential care.
A strong background in supporting children with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviors.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or a willingness to work towards it).

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 (depending on experience).
Bonus: A discretionary performance bonus.
Time Off: Birthday off plus 28 days of annual leave (increasing with service).
